Dawlish is situated on the south Devon coast, approximately half way between Exeter and Torquay on the A379. Exeter being famous for the University and Torquay being infamous for the setting of the Fawlty Towers TV series.

We are a small coastal town with approximately 13 000 residents, with an increase in "residents" during the summer months to about 30 000.

Dawlish is on the main London - Plymouth Railway line, in fact our station is possibly the only station that is virtually on the beach. This does have its own problems when we have bad winter storms, the trains generally do not get past us.

Dawlish Warren is located about two miles from the town centre and is the main place that visitors stay, with many caravan and camping sites that offer good value for money.
